THE WATER WALKER

The Grave Robber

John 6:16-21

If you want to walk on water, you’ve got to get out of the boat

An Illustrated Sermon

Hello, my name is Simon….

‘IF I WANTED TO EXPEREINCE THE POWER OF THE MIRACULOUS IN MY LIFE, THEN THERE COMES A MOMENT WHEN YOU NEED TO TAKE A RADICAL STEP OF FAITH.’

in the fiercest storm, I am always safe so long as my eyes are fixed on Jesus.’

 LESSONS FROM THE STORM

1.    ‘don’t be surprised at the fiery trials you are going through, as if something strange were happening to you. 13 Instead, be very glad—for these trials make you partners with Christ in his suffering, so that you will have the wonderful joy of seeing his glory when it is revealed to all the world.’

2.   God has a purpose for me in the storm  James 1:2-3, tells us in (1:2-3) “Dear Brothers and sisters, whenever trouble comes your way, let it be an opportunity for joy. For when your faith is tested, your endurance has a chance to grow. So let it grow, for when your endurance is fully developed, you will be strong in character and ready for anything” (NLT).

3. Finally he will come to you.

Pour out all your worries and stress upon him and leave them there, for he always tenderly cares for you.
